About the Annual Meeting
At the IRSF Rett Syndrome Scientific Meeting, attendees representing academia, industry, and governmental agencies present emerging data and share their insights about the most pressing issues surrounding Rett. The goal of the meeting is to drive meaningful breakthroughs in the research and treatment of Rett syndrome, ultimately progressing toward the discovery of a cure.

About the Annual Meeting
At the IRSF Rett Syndrome Scientific Meeting, attendees representing academia, industry, and governmental agencies present emerging data and share their insights about the most pressing issues surrounding Rett. Location
The Scientific Meeting will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, at The Westin Boston Seaport District, ideally located along the waterfront in the Seaport District just 2 miles from Boston Logan International Airport.
Rooms are available at a discounted rate as part of the IRSF room block when booked by May 9, 2025.

Abstract Submissions
IRSF is now accepting abstract submissions for the Scientific Meeting. All accepted abstracts will be invited to present a poster, and the best will be invited to give a platform presentation. The registration fee will be waived for invited speakers.
Important dates:
- The abstract submission window ends on March 7, 2025.
- Notifications will be sent by the end of March 2025.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend the Scientific Meeting?
The Scientific Meeting is only open to clinicians, researchers, scientists, and industry members in the Rett syndrome and Rett-related disorders field. The meeting is not recommended for parents or families of individuals with Rett syndrome.
IRSF invites all individuals to participate in the IRSF Rett Syndrome Scientific Meeting, irrespective of gender, race/ethnicity, disability status, religion, or nationality. By registering for this event, participants agree to abide by all IRSF policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
What is included in the cost of my registration?
Registration includes access to all daytime sessions, breakouts, poster sessions, and select meals for the duration of the meeting. Attendees will also receive materials including a printed program with all poster abstracts.
Are meals included in my registration?
Meeting registration includes two continental breakfasts, two lunches, and an evening reception with heavy appetizers on the first day. We will have a variety of food to offer options for everyone, but please indicate any dietary restrictions during the registration process.
The host hotel also offers a Starbucks, two bars, and two restaurants onsite for attendees, with additional dining options within walking distance.
What is your cancellation policy?
Confirmed registrations will not be refunded.
IRSF is committed to providing quality programming at our Scientific Meeting. Please note: speakers and agenda are subject to change. In the event of a speaker cancellation, every effort to find a suitable replacement will be made. For more information, please contact research@rettsyndrome.org.
How to get there
The nearest airport to the hotel is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). BOS offers direct flights from over 100 domestic and international destinations and is serviced by over 40 different airlines.
The hotel is approximately 2 miles from the airport and accessible via various rideshare, taxi, car rental, and other public transportation options. The hotel does not provide a direct shuttle service.
Where to stay
IRSF has reserved a block of rooms at The Westin Boston Seaport District at a discounted rate for attendees when booked by May 9th. You can reserve your room as part of our block by clicking here. Staying at the host hotel provides the convenience of being on-site where most activities take place. Because we reserve rooms in bulk, room rates are typically lower when booking as part of our group.
Parking
The Westin Boston Seaport District offers on-site parking for $49.00 per day and valet for $59.00 per day. Electric car charging stations are also available.
