“When our firstborn, Katie, was diagnosed with Rett syndrome in 2003 at 17 months, our world as we knew it had changed. Rett syndrome was not part of our parenting plan. While we knew we would do anything possible to help her, we were not clear about what that actually looked like or would demand of us. Then I found IRSF. I found hope.
Now I am honored to walk this journey with you. Empowering our community is the most rewarding work that I never knew would be my calling and there are so many people at IRSF connected in their hope for your child and mine.”
