We found that Jean does not have so much hand wringing or seizures if she is fed every hour and a half. We use eye pointing as a way to communicate and simple switches so she can activate her computer. Her favorite activity is swinging. We have a swing in the sunroom that reclines and has a sheepskin in it and she loves to spend time there. Her speech therapist noticed that she makes more attempts to verbalize since she started using it. She goes skiing with Eaglemount which scared me at first but this was our third year and she loves it. We also do special olympics, bowling with lots of help is her favorite. They have a frame that they push up to her wheelchair to put the ball on and she squeels with delight when the pins go down!
