Parents: Heather Kauffman 

Kate is number 3 in our busy family and although she is delayed in her motor and speech skills, she is able to learn more skills with the help of therapy and family. The exciting research findings and continued success of the research makes it a good possibility that one day she may just be able to enjoy life like everyone else does. We love her and know how hard it is to not know when that day will be, but hope it will come in our lifetime.
