Chloey Nicole Henry - AKA Pookie Chloey was born June 20,2005 in Fredericksburg, Va. She had the darkest head full of hair you had ever seen. I am actually Chloeys aunt, and she was my first niece, so it was a given that I was extremely excited to meet her. She was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen and I wondered when I held her how I could ever love anything more. But as Chloey started to grow we all noticed that she was losing things that she was once able to do. Because where Chloey was once starting to waive Bye-Bye and say Momma and Dadda she wasn't anymore, not even crawling, and this was at about 9 months of age. It wasn't until Chloey was about a year old did we get the answer. And let me tell you what...it was devastating to hear that Chloey would probably never walk or talk. But even with those shortcomings, all it takes is one look from those big, brown, loving eyes and you just melt. I know that for our family Chloey has taught us more than any "normal" person ever could, and she is the center of our world! This organization has shown us that there is hope. That our little angel will maybe walk someday...that our little angel may come running up to us one day and throw her arms around us and tell us she loves us. That is my hope. So here's to Chloey. My niece, my baby, my little angel! We love you forever and always!
