Questions 9 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
Hi,
I am a high school senior. In my biology class, we are learning about genetic disorders, and I am interested in learning more about Rett Syndrome. If anyone would be willing to answer a few questions concerning the daily experiences of caring for someone with Retts, please let me know- I would really appreciate it.

I have a 5 year old daughter with Rett Syndrome but when she was about 1, her grandma got her and has had her ever since. I'm going through court to try to get her back but the court said I need to have some kind of training or knowledge to take care of her. I really wish I could help u out and if anyone knows of anywhere that I can get some kind of training or basic knowledge on how to care for her please let me know. Thanks

I'd be happy to talk, or I can connect you with a family close to you. Where do you live?
