Dear Rett syndrome community,

This October, Black Out Rett Syndrome Month, we are asking supporters like you to turn your awareness into action for our girls with Rett syndrome.

Help fight for angels like Cameron "Cammy" Babiarz. Cammy, who is just 3 years old, was diagnosed with Rett syndrome in January, 2011. Cameron's parents, Jackie and Billy Babiarz of Wheaton, IL, have made it their goal to raise awareness and funds for Rett syndrome. The pair have hosted several successful fundraisers and Jackie has participated in multiple runs on behalf of Cammy and Rett syndrome.
"After every run, I kiss Cammy and whisper to her 'You keep moving your legs and I'll keep moving mine.' She smiles and stares into my eyes saying 'DEAL!.' Then I tell her 'Rett is messing with the wrong kid' and she giggles."
~ Jackie Babiarz
