Dear Western New York Rett families:
We hope you can attend this year's Hustle for a Cure! The Hustle will be held Friday, June 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Harry's Harbour Place in Buffalo. We are planning another fun event, with disco, food & fun. The details are at www.hustle4acure.com.
Due to space constraints at Harry's, we are not going to host another family get-together prior to the event. Your children are welcome to come, and the venue is wheelchair accessible, but there will not be as much "quiet" space as there was last year, so please keep that in mind in deciding whether to bring your daughters. The registration for RS girls/women and 2 parents or caregivers will be complimentary, but other guests must pay for admission. We hope to raise more critical funding for RS research this year. As you might know, the proceeds from last year's event were enough to fund the first stage of a human clinical trial of human growth hormone as a potential treatment for RS. So, please bring your friends and family or encourage them to donate online. We need all the support we can get in this fight.
We hope to see each one of you June 18!
