Life Crisis Center PDF Print E-mail
The Life Crisis Center is a non-profit counseling center for families with disabilities.

Originally begun as a Suicide Hotline 17 years ago, the LCC has since expanded to include a Rescue and Return program which features an ID bracelet or shoe tag that links back to the LCC when someone is lost.  This program is an outgrowth of an alliance with the Alzheimer's Association and has since expanded to include collaborations with other organizations including the ARC.

Joining the LCC costs $75 per year per family, and gives families (including siblings, grandparents) telephone access to fully licensed, degreed mental health counselors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

With the high level of stress most families experience, the low cost and accessibility of this program make it a very sensible investment. The Family Network is a program of Life Crisis Services, a non-for-profit United Way agency.
