Erin is a fun loving little girl with Rett Syndrome which is a debilitating disorder that keeps her silent. Erin would very much like to do all the things her peers do but is unable to and can get very frustrated over this. Erin has taught us many things during her life with us and we love her dearly and wouldn't know what we'd do without her. Erin loves to watch Dora the Explorer and the Little Mermaid DVD's. She enjoys reading and looking through books. Erin absolutely loves to go swimming. She feels completely free when in the water and many people are amazed at her abilities while in the water. Some of you may know that the scientists have managed to reverse this disorder in mice. It's thanks to all those people who donate to IRSF that this has become possible.
