Our beautiful girl was diagnosed in February 2008 with Rett syndrome. Emma is inspirational to our family and the people that meet her. She has the most amazing patience and courage throughout everything. She has a smile that can light up a room and the most contagious laughter! She loves to dance, read stories, and go horseback riding. We are hopeful that someday Emma will regain some of the function she has lost through a cure for Rett sydrome. Emma, we love you so much and are so honored that you are our daughter!
