Erika was born on September 18, 2002. She is our third daughter. Erika was a quiet baby, perfect in every way. She never cried and for the first year and slept very well. Then Rett hit and our lives did a complete about face. Through regression, first IEP,AFO's, PT, OT, seizures, G-tube and many hospital stays she has remained the love of my life. I have dedicated the remainder of my life to proving care for those families afflicted with this insidious disorder and to find a cure in my life time. Jesse Nues, John Corpus and I will be flying to meet the last Rett father someday in our lives. Count on it!!
