It can range from 100 guests to 700 guests and can be a country-western
themed party or a fancier up-town feel! In 2009 IRSF families and
friends hosted 4 large scale Galas and about 8-10 smaller scale Galas
which totaled almost $2Million!! If you are interested in hosting or

2nd Annual Rett Angels CT Gala
The 2nd Annual Rett Angels CT Gala was held on March 6th, 2010 at the Irish American Club in Glastonbury, CT. The Gala was once again chaired by Pat Fay and Maggie Wurm, Rett moms. The evening was a fabulous night of great food, inspiration speeches, guest speaker Dr. Tony Horton begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting, and a rocking band. The evening was capped off by a presentation of a $1000 check from Brian Suriner. All funds were collected by passing the bucket at Glastonbury Little League games.

2nd annual Garnett Cayce Derby Diva Gala
It was the 2nd annual Garnett Cayce Derby Diva Gala held on April 16, 2010. Everyone was dressed in Derby attire with lots of hats. We once again had betting on this year's Derby Diva. The best hats were chosen for the Derby Diva.
We also had a silent auction to auction off this year’s painting. We have a local artist do the painting each year. Mary K Greene was this year’s artist. The entertainment was by Super T. There were around 400 people that attended the Gala this year. We raised $24,000.00 to donate to IRSF. Each year this event is hosted by the Hopkinsville Young Professionals in Hopkinsville, KY and is chaired by BJ and Sarah Cayce.

Ysabel’s Hope for a Cure Gala
The Ysabel’s Hope for a Cure Gala was held on April 17th, 2010 at the James Ward Mansion in Westfield, NJ. This event hosted by the family of Ysabel Shober and was a complete surprise to Ysabel and her parents! Thank you to the Burke family and those involved for making this event such a huge success!

1st Annual An Evening with Angels Gala
The 1st Annual An Evening with Angels Gala was held on June 12th, 2010 at the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA. This event was chaired by Michelle and JR Sholder and Nicole Karnash. The theme of the event was a garden party. There were flowers and angel decorations all over the room. Dinner was served buffet style and guests enjoyed a silent auction, raffle and dancing. Eight Rett girls and their families from all over the state were in attendance. Everyone had a great time – looking forward to next year!

8th Annual Picture a Cure Benefit
The 8th Annual Picture a Cure Benefit was held on June 24th, 2010 at Sotheby’s in New York City, NY. This year’s event was once again chaired by Maura and Steve Gallucci. Guests welcomed IRSF researcher Dr. David Katz as he informed everyone of the new and exciting research news! Everyone enjoyed a silent auction, exciting raffles and a live auction.

2nd Annual Hustle for a Cure
The 2nd Annual Hustle for a Cure was held on June 18th, 2010 at Harry’s Harbour Place in Buffalo, NY. Once again chaired by Jenny and Rajat Shah, this exciting event had disco fever! Guests bid on live auction items while enjoying drinks and dinner. After the program everyone dance the night away to pop and disco music!
