Emma Sage Francis was born on November 1, 2003. We knew how special she was right from the first moment we saw her. She has always been a happy, sweet, affectionate little girl. Emma loves school, music, swimming, swinging, going for walks outside and socializing. She has even learned to love her little brother, Noah (15 months old) despite his repeated attempts to steal her glasses and pull her hair (Noah LOVES his big sister!).

Emma is extremely hard-working and determined. She is now starting to take some independent steps and is so proud of her accomplishment. She is learning to use her hands more usefully and we are working on her communication skills (primarily using eye gaze).

Emma has a smile that lights up a room, and she makes new friends wherever she goes.
