Paige started her battle with Rett Syndrome at only two months, when she began having continuous upper respitory infectios and strep throat, that we would later find out came from reflux. Between 18 months and 2 yrs. Paige lost all her body tone, use of her hands and the ability to speak (and she had just started putting two words together). Now 10 years old, Paige deals with respiratory, stomach, stamina and various health issues. Seizures interrupt her life and we continue to work to lessen them. Through her many health crisis, her many surgeries, and daily issues ~ Paige continues to show us all what it means to live, love and laugh! If you get the chance to spend time with her, you will...catch her contagious laugh...understand the warmth of a good cuddle...realize that eyes say alot...and know the simplicity of enjoying life when you share it with others!
