Regional Representative Application Page
Thank you for your interest in the IRSF Regional Representative Program! Each Regional Rep plays an important role in the lives of those affected by Rett syndrome. The Regional Rep team is comprised of compassionate and dedicated individuals who support the families within their state. If you are interested in getting to know and assist families, please apply today! For more information on the program contact Jennifer Endres at

Each Regional Rep will be encouraged to contribute in the following areas:
Provide information and emotional support to families
Reach out to new IRSF families
Plan at least one yearly get-together for the families
Support and encourage efforts to raise funds for treatments and a cure
Promote public awareness of Rett syndrome
Attend the annual conference when possible
Maintain his/her IRSF partnership
All Regional Reps will receive the following:
IRSF Regional Rep Manual
IRSF educational material and literature
Emotional support
IRSF stationery, envelopes and business cards
Planning assistance
$300 per year reimbursement for postage, telephone calls, meeting expenses, etc.

What approaches would you take to maintain frequent contact with your community and to keep them informed on recent RTT news?
Regional Representatives are frequently asked to contact local parents with various inquiries/requests. This requires making some long-distance phone calls. Are you comfortable with making these calls at your own expense?
Regional Representatives are encouraged to raise awareness and promote fundraising for Rett syndrome within their communities. Describe how you would go about doing this.
